WORD FROM THE FOUNDER

“I am a descendant of desperate refugees and immigrants. In the fall of 1945, my grandfather, together with my uncle and my father, founded PALBRIC (a portmanteau of Palestine & British co.), with the aim of finding opportunities in the postwar world. My grandfather's philanthropy was measured in the employment he created, and the dignity he restored to those displaced by war. My father and uncle's approach was directed at Jewish education. Today I have resurrected the Palbric name in their memory. With the Palbric Art Foundation, I want to focus on art and culture; specifically the richness of diversity and the benefits of integration and plural societies.” – Michael Cukier

DO NOT PASS BY, MONTREAL
Thank you to everyone who attended the Montreal edition of Do Not Pass By. Our featured artist, Milos Reindl, called Montreal home in his later years, and we were so pleased to share his early work with the city’s art lovers. Special thanks to his longtime friends and board members Wolfgang Noethlichs and Michèle Lemieux for their heartfelt and insightful presentations.
